Explanation of improvements to self-made parallel clamps :Mr. Ichimura

Explain his home-made parallel clamp

The home-made parallel clamp that Ichimura-san donated to our club was malfunctioning, so he repaired it and returned it to us. The cause was simply a loose screw. Other tips on how to use dovetail markers when cutting dovetail joints.

Introduction and demonstration of various dovetailing methods :Mr. Dalton

Dalton-san loves the dovetail joint. He showed tips on how to place a tailboard on a pin board and copy the tail shape with masking tape. He demonstrated methods by Paul Sellers from the UK, Rob Cosman from Canada, Christopher Schwarz from the USA and others. We were able to see a number of methods that were very useful to us.

Explanation of the Garage Sale Procedure at the DIY Show :Ms. Terauchi

Terauchi-san is in charge of garage sales at the DIY show. She assembled and showed us an aluminium assembled lightweight clothesline to use as a display stand. It looks quite useful, with some improvements made. What was great was the bag to store this in after disassembly. Although not shown in the photo, she is good at sewing machine work systems. She also loves C-Country mail order, and was attracted by the appeal of the 3,000 yen price tag for four clamps, so she grabbed them. Yamada-san’s comment after picking up the product was an excellent score.

Provision of charity products :Mr. Yamada

Yamada-san has released another product. The main item this time is round sandpaper, which attaches to the power tool sander. Thank you Yamada-san for all your help.

The coffin was made of dovetail joints :Mr. Sugita

Sugita-san presented the funeral of Pope Francis, who recently passed away, and pointed out that the coffin was made of dovetail joints.
